Overview
Dublin City Council needed a faster, cleaner, and more efficient way to install public park benches across several locations. Traditional installation required pouring concrete on-site, waiting up to 24 hours for it to cure, and then returning later to fix the benches into place. This two-step process increased labour time, project duration, and site disruption.
Murphy Precast, working closely with Hartecast, developed a fully integrated precast bench and base system that could be delivered and installed in a single drop.
